I am an accountant transitioning into equity research, combining a foundation in audit and IFRS reporting with financial modelling and business valuation to understand how companies create long-term value.
I began my career at Polaris Bank Limited, spending five and a half years in banking operations before moving into financial reporting at KPMG Nigeria, where I prepared and analysed IFRS-compliant financial statements for multinational clients across manufacturing, financial services and consumer sectors.
I later joined Kreston Pedabo, where I have worked across audit and financial reporting engagements while pioneering the firm's Financial Reporting Unit, helping build the team alongside audit managers and the Engagement Quality Control Officer.
Over time, my interest shifted beyond preparing financial statements to understanding how investors value businesses and develop conviction around investment decisions. That curiosity led me to deepen my expertise in financial modelling, valuation, and equity research.
I earned my Associate, Chartered Accountant (ACA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) in 2021 and earned my Advanced Financial Modeler (AFM) designation from the Financial Modelling Instutute (FMI) in 2026. I have been applying those skills through a growing body of independent research, using financial modelling, DCF and comparable company analysis, alongside scenario and sensitivity analysis, to assess businesses and develop investment views.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading and reviewing fiction, as well as crocheting. Both provide a creative outlet and a different kind of focus away from financial statements and spreadsheets.
